Riders at our September 4, 2022 Fundraiser for EART at Forest Hill
PEI Trail Riders holds sanctioned club trail rides regularly throughout the riding season. These rides are generally open to members and non-members alike, and are usually free of charge to members, with an optional donation to the club.
Other rides have been directly aimed at fundraising for causes that help glue our communities together. Our most notable benefit rides include:
August 20, 2022 "Dog Days of Summer" ride in Breadalbane: $100 raised via optional donations for the PEI Wildlife and Rehabilitation Rescue, in Miscouche. Candy Gallant, who runs the rescue, holds the first license issued to an individual for wildlife rescue on PEI.
Sept 4, 2022 Forest Hill Fundraiser Ride for the Emergency Animal Response Team: $500 in cash and donations raised for this skilled and effective group of volunteers who are officially called in by police/fire services when animals are implicated in an emergency, and who work to help individuals and families when they face a disaster or crisis involving their pets.
